Biography
Christopher Stewart is a painter and visual artist based in Dallas, TX. His work explores the relationship between nature and time to observe the beauty in aging and deterioration.
He received a merit-based scholarship for painting at SMU in Dallas, Texas and graduated with a BFA in Studio Art (Painting and Printmaking). He also earned graduate degrees from SMU including a Masters in Art and a Masters of Business Administration. He has worked at the renowned de Young Museum and the Legion of Honor in San Francisco in design, and has been the Executive Creative Director and lead Designer for Black Eye. Visual design has informed his painting especially drawing upon the continual process of editing and re-working.
