COSMOS is one of several series in which this artist has been working since the early seventies under a broader umbrella that he calls possibilities of a structure, which manifests a clear interest in carrying out a permanent inquiry into the relationship between art and life. In Eduardo Terrazas' COSMOS, several times coexist: the westernized and the non-westernized; the fast and the slow; that of the relationship with the environment and that of the relationship with oneself. From this series, Terrazas establishes an essential link for his work and thought with craftsmanship and geometry as a universal language. In the late 1960s, he met the Huichol artisan Santos Motoapohua de la Torre de Santiago, with whom he began a collaborative relationship that continues to this day.
