For the second time, Saenger Galería (Mexico City, Mexico) and COHJU (Kyoto, Japan) join forces to present a joint exhibition, bringing together Japanese artists Mio Yamato (Shiga, 1990), Atsuki Fujimoto (Mie, 1997), Shinya Azuma (Osaka, 1994), Shu Okamoto (Nara, 1995), and Takuya Otsuki (Nara, 1989), alongside Mexican artists Alfredo Gallegos Mena (Mexico City, 1991), Fernanda Brunet (State of Mexico, 1963), Cecilia Barreto (Mexico City, 1985), and Yoab Vera (Coyoacán, 1985), as well as international artists Scott Reeder (Michigan, USA, 1970), Robert Janitz (Alsfeld, Germany, 1962), Adriana Oliver (Barcelona, 1990), and Gregor Hildebrandt (Bad Homburg, 1974).

This year's proposal spans multiple disciplines, from sculpture to painting and photography. All of the works share a common language that moves through minimalism and, above all, reverie. Whether through photographs of swimming pools, fantastical beings from Japanese mythology, or representations of everyday staples such as bread and butter; onomatopoeias, marine horizons, or volcanoes, reality is always interpreted in a different way. The exhibition invites contemplation through the vulnerability of the artist.
